Awhile back, Barkley approached the studio I work at, Austin Walsh Studio, and pitched some ideas to the studio about helping with a social media campaign they were doing for Take5 candy bars’ rebranding. My boss, Austin, and our executive producer decided this would be a perfect project to put me in charge of and handle as the first full fledged shoot I would be spearheading under the studio’s name, officially adding the title of “Photographer” under the studio’s identity.
I was insanely nervous and excited. My ideas and my input was to be put on the table along with art directors and clients, conference calls, planning, assistants, all under my responsibility to organize and assemble and participate in. Things I’ve always pretty much have always been doing, but this was the first time a huge agency and a huge client were involved. The idea was to shoot a slew of images on white and toss them onto multiple, and extraordinarily colorful backdrops.
In this post I will be posting the quick and dirty of the process. The final images you can find on our studio’s website, HERE!
Mad shoutout to Austin for even letting me on his team in the first place. Shit’s dope!
If you’ve made it this far and haven’t checked out the final images on the Studio’s site, get your ass there now!
Here’s to candy bars.
Here’s to Josh, the dude in the unicorn mask, for sweating his ass off in a poorly ventilated mask.
Here’s to an AWS takeover.
